About the Course:
Boost your resume by becoming a Certified Software Engineering Professional. CSDP certification demonstrates an individual’s proficiency of the knowledge required of an experienced software development professional. More and more professionals have chosen to earn the CSDP to demonstrate this knowledge and advance in their careers. And, employers are recognizing the value in standardizing their software development practices through certifications like the CSDP.
The three-day CSDP preparation course will be taught by an IEEE CS certified instructor, covers the 15 knowledge areas (KAs) that the CSDP exam is based upon, and also includes a sample examination. In preparation for the instructor-led course students will have access to the CSDP online e-learning course for a period of six months. Together, the e-learning and instructor-led courses will help a student identify their strengths and weaknesses within the 15 CSDP KAs in preparation for the exam. A voucher is included with the course so that the student can schedule their examination appointment at any Prometric test center.
The CSDP is the only professional software engineering certification that covers three critical components:
Demonstrating mastery of a Body of Knowledge (BOK)
Employer’s confirmation of an employee’s proficiency of software engineering principles
Continuing professional education measured and relevant to the BOK.
